KLOOF ORPHAN COTTAGE
The Kloof Orphan Cottage children's home was started in 2003 by Garry and Annette Hare. Their vision was to give abandoned, AIDS affected, children new hope by providing a safe, loving home utilising the cottage on their property at 4 Buckingham Road, Kloof. After much prayer the Lord brought along, one by one, five little children.
The cottage is run by a team of dedicated people who have sincere love for these very special children. Garry and Annette are the overseers of Kloof Orphan Cottage with Jacques and Maggel du Plessis managing the home and its day to day affairs. Their house mother is trained in HIV care and is very committed at administering the children's ARV medication.
The orphanage is run as a non-profit organisation that relies solely on donations and sponsors. Click the child's name below for a picture and profile:
